In this blog, I will track every cent that I give to the government and keep a daily log that will include the total from that day and the year-to-date total as well. At the end of the year, we will see how much someone, just out of college, will be giving the government. My hypothesis: too much.

Day 9
Well today I filled my gas tank which was 10.054 gallons. Gas tax in VA is .196 a gallon, so that comes out to $1.97. I also bought food which was an additional 38 cents.
