In this blog, I will track every cent that I give to the government and keep a daily log that will include the total from that day and the year-to-date total as well. At the end of the year, we will see how much someone, just out of college, will be giving the government. My hypothesis: too much.

Day 18
Today I bought Politics magazine which was 25 cents in tax. I then bought a sleeve of golf balls in which the tax came out to 28 cents. I also bought food and the tax for that came out to 26 cents.
